Update Effective November 20, 2023:

It is with mixed emotions that Dr. Ardell, along with the support of his wife and children, has made the decision to close his practice in Regina and relocate to Calgary. This decision was made after much thought and it was not taken lightly. Dr. Ardell would like to thank everyone for the support shown to him and his family since arriving in Regina two years ago. The Saskatchewan Health Authority, along with Prairie Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, is excited to announce that Dr. Peter Dust will be taking over Dr. Ardell’s practice. Dr. Dust was raised in Saskatoon, and completed his Physiology Degree (Honours) and Medical Degree at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon. He then moved to Montreal where he completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at McGill University. He subsequently completed 2 years of fellowship training in Toronto, subspecializing in trauma/fracture care and complex arthroplasty/joint replacement surgery. He is very excited to be returning to the province he considers home. All patients on Dr. Ardell’s waitlists (both consult and surgical) will remain in their position in queue. In addition to taking over Dr. Ardell’s patients, Dr. Dust will be accepting new referrals. You can read more about Dr. Dust here.
